Catherine, who comes from a corporate background, is trained in the most scientific tool available on the market for measuring EQ and runs seminars and training courses to help business people grow their Emotional Intelligence. Sas Soubhi of Business Medics talked to the group about marketing. He explained how a thorough analysis of a business's products prior to doing any marketing can identify where money would best be spent. He told us how to identify our stars, cash cows and dogs, and showed us some pretty scary logos. We also learned the difference between advertising and marketing - and you won't be surprised to learn that the biggest difference is cost. Do contact him for further information. He intends to be at the next meeting, so if you want to grab him for an informal chat come and join us on the 20th March. See on the news page for further information about the March meeting. Many thanks to Sas for a very enjoyable and informative evening.
