Did you know about the new London area code?

London is getting another telephone number but don't panic; there's no need to change your company stationary and letterheads (yet). OFCOM are adding 0203 into the fray, to join 020 7 and 8. The new number is to provide extra lines for business and home users and will come into effect in Autumn 2005. The additional number will simply provide additional line capacity. If you travel on the tube frequently you may already know this and if not you may have no idea. There doesn’t seem to be a consistent advertising campaign and the only information I have come across was on a tube advert. Discussions at the committee meeting drew a blank from some and a knowing nod from others so I thought I would let you all know. For more information go to:
